Individual contributions:

GEO Task ST-09-02

Members and POs' Contributions to Outputs and Activities:

UNR

The University of Nevada, Reno, Reno, Nevada, USA provides the Point of Contact for ST-09-02 as a contribution of IEEE.

UNR brings in the IGCP 565 Project, which is lead by an international team of geodesists and hydrologists. This R&D project provides a platform for a cross-discipline dialogue related to the monitoring of the global water cycle  and brings several science communities (including geodesy, hydrology, and hydrogeodesy) into GEO Task Teams and Communities of Practice. The IGCP 565 Project leads the organization of five annual workshops jointly with GGOS, GEO, ESA, and NASA. Example are the workshop "Towards a roadmap for future satellite gravity missions" held on September 30 to October 2, 2009 (see http://www.igcp565.org/workshops/Graz/), and the workshop "Separating hydrological and tectonic signals in geodetic observations" held on October 11-13, 2010 in Reno, Nevada, USA (see http://www.igcp565.org/workshops/Reno_2010/).
