The members of the Task Team of the GEO Task “Building an User Driver GEOSS” were invited to participate in the first face-to-face meeting, which was held on Monday, 27 August, at the Geozentrum, University of Bonn, Germany.

Over several months, members of the ID-04 Task Team had been working on a strategic plan for the task and leshed this out in the worksheet reports for the three components (C1, C2, C3). These drafts were also available on-line at .

The main objective of this day-long meeting was to review these documents with the larger user community, improve the strategic plan and develop a priority list objectives for the next year and following two years. A draft agenda is available here.
